  1. I would like to hear more about the Gairloch knitted socks. I’ve embarked on a project to knit narrow woollen strips (mostly undyed hand-spun from different breeds round Scotland, from wheels dating back 200 years or so), initially for a ‘throw’ for my Australian daughter, but now expanded to the bridesmaids at her postponed wedding next year. Traditional patterns such as Gairloch and Fair Isle will also put in an appearance so I’d love to include more on the history. The completed ‘throws’ will be accompanied by details of the wool-source and stitches used in each strip

  2. Love the beetle wing dress. Creative use of something in nature without damaging nature. Beautiful and natural colors of the embroidery beetle wing silk and the use of soft cotton make it look comfortable.
